Mass Wrestling
My brother Jason was the vice president of masswrestling.com for about a year. He was responsibly for the content of the site. Throughout the week he would attend the biggest tournament and matches around New England video tapingĀ and rank the wrestlers based on their performance. During his tenure the site popularity increased dramatically. Everyone loved watching the videos especially the relatives far away that could not attend. One day he was no longer part of masswrestling. People thought his disappearance was a mystery.
I am here to set the record straight. Jason left masswrestling because he believed in the first amendment, freedom of speech. There were a particular coach that thought matches should not be posted on the site to be viewed. He feared his wrestlers could be scouted. Mike Atlas owner of the site had a choice to make, keep the site with up to date videos or conceded to one particular coach and take down the videos. He made the easy choice and removed the videos. My brothers most valuable instrument to help make Masswrestling special had be taken away. He quite in disgust because his morals, ethics, and belief’s has been compromised. The popularity of the site almost went down as fast as the Titanic.

A nice letter I received from Jason:
==============================
Dear Mike,
You’re too poor to even buy video equipment or legally make masswrestling an LLC or incorporate. If you have half of the success of Phil in your life consider yourself lucky. You run a bushleague website and the only reason you have any traffic is because there is no competition.

I hope by the time I’m 26, I can share in his pride of calling college students “poor”. Interestingly enough, Jason’s parents are paying for his grad schooling.
